and Microsoft's intention is to make money selling Office (Word+Excel) then shouldnt it be possible that MSN Search results can be added to a "Word document" along with image search results then download the Word document for offline viewing? That would promote Word usage ?

Well nobody is supposed to "consider" it. If I say-so. it must be done. No matter what. Or you are contradicting yourself. Search results (Not all-you should be able to "check off" results that you might need) need to be assemblable+downloadable at MSN end into a Word format.

Well, I'm not sure we should promote the usage of a poorly designed program like Word...

But anyway, you could do what you suggest the hard way--By going to the edit menu, selecting all, and then copy the search results into a Word (or any other editor) program. Maybe you want the entire search result (that could include over a million hits), if so, copy multiple pages. Since few people actually look beyond the first 1 or 200 sites on a search result, I somehow doubt that it would be feasible to include what you suggest.

There are also other ways of doing something like what you suggest: (1) File menu, Save page as; or (2) File menu, Send Link (to the clipboard, then paste it into Word)--this would give you access to the search results.

If you truly believe in this feature, then send a request to MSN developers. Maybe they'll consider, agree, and add the feature to some future release.

You right but nobody is making money if everything fits and works together the french say "VIVA LA differance".
Imagin if a Mercedes seat would fit into a Honda wow.
But sometimes there are technical idiosycraties they can't be met.
Take care !
