the best leader must not selfish.... must make all people in their country peace and happy... no poor people.... only one country i see.. IRAN, all in there country live togther... no poor people there....

Because in Switzerland the president is not a personality or a celebrity -- nor is s/he even the head of state. And there is never the arrogance that goes with being a PM of Britain or a President of the US.
Get the job done during the year you are president; then give way to the next federal council member in rotation.
Those Presidents for Life (or almost life) don't hack it. Not even when they are poets like Leopold Sedar Senghor.
