i have to believe that one fine day all these will stop. one fine day God will put all the evil in this world to a halt. He gave us free will, to do as we see fit, but man has abused that right. people found all sorts of reason to harm another.

but we all can join the fight in a quiet way-- by doing our best to do what is right in our little corners of the world. i started working for the disabled. while it may not solve the global problems all at once, im pitching in to help heal a societal wound. find your own place under the sun and pitch in, too-- that way, we heal sick nations bit by bit.

its hard to see where to focus our excess energies. the fact that you can see something wrong in society tells you that you do have excess energy-- all that frustration can be chanelled into something so positive. it doesnt have to be anything grand.

smiling at someone can lift up a spirit. high spirits can be inspired to do someting good to another. a good deed can be passed around. before you know it, you might have started something grand just because you smiled at someone.

evil has its ways of destroying mankind. but every good thing that you do repairs it.

The world has progressed a great deal. Although some people still war, large commercial nations have not really gone to war with one another (the statistic peopl elike is that no two countries with McD's haave ever gone to war).

Consider the deaths from disease and famine and starvation that occurred as little as 200 years ago. The population of thw rold has grown imensely we are by and large not starving as a species and have increased our life expectancy considerable. The answer is that technology makes goods cheaper and more abundnat and that when people are bieng fed and have jobs and are in good health they tend not to fight with one another. We're getting better at providing those things to everyone.

There was a man who saw a brown worm writhing on the ground. He took pity on it as it seemed to be struggling to get out of its dark, wrinkled casing. He took it in his hand and gently tore the casing away from it. A beautiful lacy winged creature emerged. But its wings were shriveled up and it fell to the ground never to fly.

You see, the man did not know that in the process of struggling and emerging from the casing, the beautiful green wings are pumped with fluids that allow the creature to fly.

A major step would be eradicating all religion - then at least people could only argue about the real world.

Keeping Hope and Faith in one another and a higher power if you wish. We must keep trusting and believing in each other and being there positively to keep positive things happening more often and in more ways.
