Brides...do/did you take your attnedants into consideration when choosing dresses? (Gown style, color; their financial situation, whether or not they'll ever be able to wear it again; etc?)
Or did you just pick your color, the style you want/ed, & say,"Wear it, or don't be in the wedding!!" ?

Anyone who's been a bridesmaid....have you ever had to wear the dress from Hades, in the name of love?! LOL!! Or did you have a fantastic dress? All the same dresses, or did you get to choose?

I took into consideration the dress color
and if it would look good on them or not.
I didn't want my bridesmaids to look ugly in
their dresses so I chose one that matched every skin tone.
It was gorgeous & a little pricier, but they were able to
wear it again to a formal affair.
My younger cousin wore it to her prom.
You can't make everyone happy, though,
but I tried to be as considerate as I could without settling for less.

I am getting married next June and yes I am taking my bridesmaids into consideration in picking colors and so forth. First of all, it is really easy to have your colors in flowers and so forth. My bridesmaids are wearing black dresses and the color of flowers is a deep red, possibly some lighter shades of red to enhance. We will probably use David's Bridal for their dresses. They have a line of dresses that allows each bridesmaid to select the top and bottom according to their interest. This allows some flexiblility in prices and wearability.

I was in 'mauve taffeta' for a friends wedding, it was called a rainbow wedding because all the bridesmaids were in a different colour, mauve wasn't too bad considering the other choices, apricot, mint and lemon (what was she thinking)its only one day so I think the bride should have the final say (its her day)and besides there's great laughs when we look at the photos! very 80s,very scary!!
