Make sure the Cooling fans are working & there isn't anything infront of the radiator.Make sure there isn't ANY air bubbles coming up from the Radiator when U start it up when it's cold.IF it's smoking WHITE smoke from the Exhaust U have a bad head Gasket or cracked block or head.U should C the water flowing after U remove the Radiator cap-id not the impeller on the Water Pump could b bad -Or U could have a blocked Radiator.Make sure the other Radiator hose isn't collapsing.IF the Cooling fans are electrict - they should come on as soon as U turn on the AC.

bad water pump . heater doesn't get very hot? broken water pump impeller. BUT it also sounds like you continued to drive it and now have a blown head gasket
