You can't tell from looking in the mirror. You have to look deep inside yourself for that. As Shakespeare said, it's a matter of holding a mirror up to nature, but it's not made of glass, it's made of truth.

Nothing in the mirror, it's all in the head.
The light comes and hits you and gets bounced back by the mirror into your eyes, passes through the lens to the retina to be picked up by the optic nerve and passed as electric impulses to the brain.
What I see when I look at my reflection, is my latest skin. It's not me, I am much more than that. Others see me differently, but we all see everything differently.
So what am I? Do I know me?
I know what I think of me, but it isn't me, it's my image of me, through time, through my memories, an altered version, specially for my own consumption.
I like myself up to a point, I know I'm not perfect but I don't mind that. I try to be good to others, but I'm sure I often fail. I don't know how others perceive me really, and to tell the truth I don't care. I have more important things to worry about, and I would rather feel that I did my best, than that I tried to impress other people.

Unfamiliar,'' other'', that is what I see, and even though I look very often through this Mirror, the other' one their is ,on known, mysterious, and fascinatingly enough, hidden.
If I like myself? Yes, but with lots of criticism. I am the first criticizer of my motion's, or it is better to say, the one in Mirror, is.
If I know the person I see? I don't ,and I would never know the one in the Mirror, for that , it surprises me enough, to know that I don't know her.
If I am good to others?, at least I try, but if I do my best, I don't know, the Mirror says, I could do more.
Whither others perceive as I perceive myself? My Friends do much better then I do. but do I know that for sure,? yes , my Friends are throught foll and practice self critic, that is helpfully if you are open for the world, if you are fully satisfied with yourself, their is something wrong.
that is the first time that I am sorry that my English in general and my spelling is not good for the answers on this sights. it is a very good question and needs much better answer.

Yes, I know who's in the mirror looking back at me.
I like myself and I am successful in my own right. I raise two kids by myself.
I think others perceive me as being an A-OK guy. I'm
not perfect, but I try to treat people as I would like to be treated.

This is a most excellent question.
I rarely look at my eyes directly in a mirror. It is too intense for me. Very exciting and a bit disconcerting.
When I see my reflected eyes I cannot imagine that God does not exist.
I do like myself and I attempt to be good to others but this isn't what I see in my eyes.
I see only a great soul.

The mirror only shows your physical reflection and not your inner thoughts, beliefs or desires. Just because you look clean, tidy and smart does not mean the your a decent person

No one sees themself the same as any other person does. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
