I would ask my sister if she was happy and if she felt that this man was right for her. If she answers "yes" then there's nothing you can do. She's an adult, entitled to make her own choices and also mistakes. I think you should ask yourself what is most important to you, your sisters happiness or the age of the men she dates. This man could make her very happy. Don't judge him solely on his age, thats not right or fair. Would you rather she dated a guy her age that treated her badly, just because they are the same age.
Support your sister as much as you can regardless. That way you will remain close. No one makes choices that we agree with all the time. The fact remains, this man and others may come and go, but family is forever.

Yes men do grow up slower then woman so a couple of years is ok, but 21-49!
That's too much I think! I really do get a bad fealing.
Maybe you should talk to your sister tell her that you're concirned for her because you love her and try to meet the man and try to understand his intent.

49 years old man is much matured and will surely love her much more than other younger boys, but still he is too old for her.....you should go and speak to this matured man, talk to him and make him realize that if he really loves this girl then he should himself make her understand that what they both are doing is not worth and will spoil her life in future. Only he can stop your sister. Give it a try....talk to him peacefully, do not use any force. Some how I think he will realize his mistake.

Yes, he is too old and is most likely taking advantage of her. Dirty old disgusting man! Tell him to find someone else his own age. He probably will also be obsessed by her youthful beauty and would most likely leaves her if she ages or puts on weight. Men like that are always looking for someone younger. They can put it over and manipulate and make into a tramp. Does he tell her how to dress too? Men like that are obsessed by youth and beauty. When she was being born, he was probably 28 or 29 EEEWWW

I think perhaps you should mind your own business. If she was going out with a man 7 feet tall and she was 5 feet, would you then be interfering because of the height difference?

How many times have we seen women saying here that they prefer tall men? Maybe she prefers older men. What concern is that of yours?

Stay out of it and don't judge.Let her know you are there 4 her,no matter what. Most of all let her know u love her,no matter what.I my opinion is too old 4 her. He's been around he knows more about life, love and the world. She may just be intrigued by him.Hopefully that is all it is.

You know age isnt everything.......
I am 22 and my partner is 40,
My Aunt is 40 and her husband is 63
would be different is she was younger but she is old enough to take care of her self and maybe learn from her mistakes.

wow he sure is to old for her! unfortunately there isn't much you can do, she is an adult and can legally make her own decisions... the best way to handle it is- bite your tongue as difficult as that may be and not put pressure on her to end it, doing so will only make her more interested in him... just sit back and give it some time... soon she will most likely move on to some one younger...
