Your baby's development
The embryo measures at about 1/17 of an inch.
It has divided into 3 layers from which tissues and organs will develop.
The brain, spinal nerves, and backbone will make up the top layer.
The foundation for bones, muscles, kidneys, ovaries or testis will develop from the middle layer.
The lungs, intestines and urinary will make up the inner layer.
The head has developed along with an opening for the mouth.
The first heartbeat occurs at 21-22 days.
The primitive placenta and umbilical cord are already supplying the embryo with needed nourishment.
What you may be feeling
Physically
Your breasts may feel fuller.
You may be experiencing fatigue and sleepiness.
You may have nausea with or without vomiting.
Heartburn, indigestion, flatulence and bloating may occur.
You may develop food aversions and/or cravings.

Emotionally
Mood swings, irrationality, weepiness, fear, joy and elation are all normal emotions of pregnancy.
What to expect at the doctors
Usually doctors won't schedule first prenatal appointments until after 6 weeks.

At one month you're probably not having a bunch of symptoms other than some slight cramping or stretching feelings in your abdomen.

You will also feel VERY tired most of the time and find that activities you are used to make you worn out much more quickly than before.

Some people experience morning sickness at this point but not always that early. It's usually a feeling of either wanting to throw up or actually wanting to and doing it.

Breast and/or nipple tenderness and soreness are also pretty common at this time.

That's about all I can think of right now.

Hope that helps :)

There are a number of symptoms but they could mean you are pregnant, that you are getting your period., that you are getting the flu... etc In other words don't use possible symptoms as an indicator whether you are pregnant or not... My advice is wait until your period is due.. and if it doesn't come take a test... I know first response says you can test 5 days before your period is due.. and thats the only thing you should use to judge if you are preg or not
