All indigenous peoples and animals from Australia have evolved in isolation. A darker skin is merely an evolutionary response to constant sunlight - it protects the skin from damage. In evolutionary terms, we with white skins are the mutations.
The aboriginal peoples have certain similiarities with the typical African physique, such as short, wide noses, but again this is an evolutionary response. In hot climates there is need to process oxygen quickly, whereas in Europe a longer aquiline nose filters colder air before it reaches the lungs.
The real similarities are cultural. Both indigenous peoples cultures - particularly the Australian Aboriginals' - are founded on a deep respect for the landscape and living in harmony with it, something that the descendents of we Europeans are singularly incapable of doing.

Every country has two different types of people. The ones who've immagrated (or were brought there as slaves), and it's aboriginal people (the ones who were there when the first foreigners got there). The whites you see in Africa and Australia are of European decent (generally British, but there are plenty Dutch).
Do an google images search for "Australian Aboriginal". The pictures you'll see are of Australia's original people and THEY ARE BLACK.
Please keep in mind that many aboriginal people have mixed with whites over the years. This often accounts for the various shades of black you see all over the world.

The native aborigines are dark skinned. But all the Australians you know of are of European descent, and have not lived there long enough (only about 200-300 years?) to develop darker skin to cope with the sun.

Are you stupid? NATIVE Australians (Aborigines) ARE black!! The only reason that there are white Australians is that Britain deported its criminals to Australia in the 17th and 18th centuries. Jesus!
