Hey, I am going through this. I noticed that the e-mails were mostly initiated by me and the calls stopped completely. Move on, get out and meet some new people and stop waiting on a "so called friend". I haven't heard a thing from these "friends" in weeks, so I am out meeting new people to hang out with. Good luck to you !

I am usually good at keeping in touch but I have seasons of time when I am lazy. Usually, we just pick up where we left off. I would not give up a good friend for anything. Down the road, with life's twists and turns, it pays off to make the effort to stay close. They are there for you and you for them. I just reestablished an almost lost friendship and am sooooooo glad I did. She is a treasure. Everything good takes work.

No, you should not give up. A friend will remain a friend even the communication become less and less. Somehow if you are far away, take in consideration he has his own life. Just remembering you on special occasion will be enough but if he still forget it don't worry as long as you do not forget him/her it is ok be his friend in spirit.

Well since high school I only kept in touch with one friend. Just recently we started to hang out. But yeah its hard to keep in touch with friends. Sometimes I get lazy to call them. And if you don't attempt to keep in touch they will also give up and go on with their lives.

tough question....our friends change through out life...some strong today will be distant tomorrow as interests and distance plays big roles. I keep in touch with real friends, but you will find that true frined are very rare....most we come in contact with are acquaintainences, and these seem to fall by the wayside easily. Friends are dear ...keep them so. Good luck

Why should you give up instead of ignore all of it! Keep in touch with all friends and coleges! One more thing: put a single question next time!

well, some friendships outgrow their purpose and are pretty much full circle. Some are meant to last a long time. Just savor the ones you have, they are a blessing------don't forget that!
