Wireless notebook mice are generally smaller than normal PC mice, but otherwise work just fine with one caveat. If you're looking at Bluetooth mice, some don't come with a Bluetooth dongle and assume that you already have a Bluetooth receiver in your laptop. If you don't have a Bluetooth card in your PC, you won't be able to use such mice.
In general, the term "wireless mouse" refers to a non-Bluetooth mouse that includes its own USB wireless receiver dongle. If that's the case, it will work just fine on a PC.

yes they will work. a laptop runs on the same principal as a desktop, same operating system. so the mouse doesn't really know if it is on a desktop of laptop. so once the software is setup, it will work in either pc.

I love my baby cordless mouse
when the battery gets low I have to use this great rat of a thing that is too big for my small hands and its 'tail' is so restrictive.
They often have a lot of extra features too.
