although putting conditions on it like no but more intelligent implies 'betterness' too. After all, as a species, we thrash ourselves pretty bad. I disagree about the more intelligent thing. there's something to be said about the simple life.

Human beings have the potential to be guardians of this planet and ALL of its inhabitants. Not all people are destructive, and many truly do care. I understand being down on the human race with everything that is happening in the world. I honestly believe that things are improving and eventually we will evolve as a group and become a positive force in the future of this planet. It can happen.

I did notice. But I'm not surprised. The simple truth is, without an understanding of spirituality, there is no reason to believe we are better than animals, only the intelligence level can be argued but that is a straw man. I wasn't referring to intelligence, I was referring to conscience. Understanding is not strictly an intelligence issue.

We're not better than animals, we ARE animals. We just happen to be a bit more complex than the rest of them.

In a way animals are smarter because they are following their instincts and us human we sometime forget about it!
