I have comcast HIDEF reciever and I recently bought a DELL XPS PC with MCE. I know I can get hidef OTA (over the air) channels and record it but is there any way I can connect my PC to recieve and record programmes from comcast's reciever directly like HBO-HIDEF or DISCOVERY Hidef.
Please answwer if you're recording a hbo-hidef or equiv in your MCE/PC. If yes then please guide me for hardware I need and pointers for setup if any.
I did lots of investigation but not getting anywhere including ATI hidef wonder.
Will really appreciate your experience.

Contact the Dell customer support team. They are really good with providing you with any info you need to use their products, or directing you to the info if they can't provide it.
Go to the Dell website to get the support line number for your country.
