Music Stores normally require employees to be over 17, usually 18, because of the Ratings on CDs these days. Most states do not allow some CDs and Movies to be sold to minors and therefore cannot be sold by minors either.

Charise 266 is right. You usually have to be 18 to work in music stores now. I use to work at a music store and yeah they usually do give you a discount. It's neat working there because you get all kinds of promos to play in the store and then they usually let the employees have them.
