My son seemed to kick quite a bit in utero, and has been a hyper, super-active kid ever since he was born. Now I'm hella worried, cuz my unborn daughter seems to kick and squirm ten times more than my son ever did, and I'm wondering if I'm going to be giving birth to the Tasmanian Devil!

Just wondering if any of you had any opinions or experience with this!

i was the same way. my son was extremely active in utero, and as an infant he was very alert and active. and now as a two year old, he goes constantly every day. but he is advanced for his age compared to the other toddlers in my family. my daughter(due monday the 4th) is not active by half. i was extremely worried to begin with but the heartbeat is strong and she does move occasionally. i get ten movements a day so she is fine because i am so close to delivery. as long as you get ten movements an hour, im sure this is not a problem, you should be fine. enjoy all the movement while you can. soon you will have to share your special 'alien' (ha ha) with the world. congrats on your miracle!

My toddler boy became that way while i became pregnant, and that i won't be able to say that he's greater lively than others now that he's extraordinarily much 3 months. the only distinction I see is that from day one, he's been so lots greater unsleeping than different toddlers his age. From day one, the nurses on the wellbeing midsection have been stunned by how lots time he'd spend eyes extensive open paying interest to his environment and all and sundry around. could be it rather is fullyyt a twist of fate, could be it has something to do with the actuality he became rather lively contained in the womb and not drowsing that lots. additionally, he hits a great style of milestones related to actual skills and potential a earlier than predicted, like rolling over at 7 weeks. My opinion is that he became already fit with the aid of shifting lots contained in the womb.

My daughter (I am still pregnant) is really active too. I asked my doctor and she said it can go either way. Some babies act really anxious in utero and when they are born mellow out. She also said that females tend to be more active as a fetus.

I would tell this to your physician. Maybe they want to do an ultra sound on you and see if the child has grown more than expected or if everything is alright. be glad you have the movement, if that changes i would tell my Dr.

YES a horrible one. If it is hurting you, or the child is a good weight, and is moving too much, demand they remove your child. i had a miscalculated due date. by a month and a a half?
