an open cirulatory system means there is no heart but small muscular contractions and no blood. they contain intestial fluid through out the body and just exchange there differnt nutrients and wastes thourgh that. So the dissavantages are:
- Much less movement of substances and wastes
- Less efficient circulation
The advantages are:
- Much faster transfer expulsion of wastes (Such as Nitrogenous wastes (Urea, Uric Acid) and Co2)
-Faster Movement of oxygen to required areas
-Faster Horemone action due to increased blood flow rate.
