It is a term used to describe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and it's followers. I am LDS (Mormon). We are Christian. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. We believe him to be the Son of God. We believe in the Godhead, but we believe them to be seperate beings rather that one as other christian religions believe. They are one in purpose, but not literally one person or thing. We believe in the Book of Mormon and the Bible. The Book of Mormon does not take away from the Bible and it's teachings, it is a second witness to Christ and his gospel. There is plenty more information if you visit LDS.org or mormon.org. I hope this helps.

To displace any common mistakes or misunderstandings, we do NOT practice polygamy or practice satanic rituals.

A "Mormon" is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've been an enthusiastic member since my sophomore year in college. It does NOT mean moron, or any member of several very small fringe groups who practice polygamy.

There are roughly 13 million members of my faith, with a slight majority living outside the United States. It is one of the fastest growing religions in the world, despite being a demanding faith.

This Christian faith differs from mainline churches because it is a restoration, and thus NOT a part of the Catholic or Protestant tradition. By that, I mean it does not claim to be a continuation of the church founded by Jesus Christ while He lived on earth, which is usually associated with the Catholic churches. Nor does it claim to be part of the Protestant reformation. My faith is the religion founded by Jesus Christ, miraculously restored to earth as predicted by the Bible.

It is always better to go to the source itself to find out what you want
to know.

Go to their official web site ( I have listed them below)

Both of these places should give you some answers.

In my opinion, you should talk to someone that is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The missionaries of the church are the best ones to ask questions to if you are looking for information.

they are called MORONS. the answer below me is correct. But what the morons teach is PATHETIC. Do you want to be A GOD?
Go be a member to the MORON church. They believe that you can be a GOD...NOT THE GOD, but A GOD! NOT TRUE!

HERE'S A GOOD ONE.....It states in the HOLY BIBLE that if ANYONE makes "another testament" of GOD, they are FALSE!
That's where that stupid book called, BOOK OF MORON comes in. the year 1400 something ( i think ) is when Joseph smith restored the "ONE AND ONLY TRUE CHURCH".....UM,,,,,,helllooo........that was in the year 1400.........YA! pretty pathetic aint it? The HOLY BIBLE has been around for MILLIONS of years...there IS proof of that too!

Heres something I wish to share with you! Believe what you want!
