I think that the Harry Potter books are fantastic. They have got children and adults excited about reading, which is impressive when you consider how many other options are competing for their attention these days (TV, computers, video games, etc.). The movies aren't as good as the books but they are entertaining too. They also have a good message - that you should do the right thing whether or not it is the popular thing to do. The merchandise is fun for the people that enjoy the books and/or movies.

EVERYTHING to do with him? On the whole, I think he and his friends and the plot and the merchadise are baloney. However, there are some cool ideas within the stories that are inventive as in any fantasy books/movies. But overall I think Harry Potter stinks!

I think the books a great a bit to much hipe but they are storys not real it seems some people can not tell the differance. children have always enjoyed make baleave as in snow whit and or rose reb most fairy storys have magic I can not beleave some people beleave the devinchi code is real when it says it is fiction at the start it is adults that get convused not children

I think everything about it is cool, except for the people who are anti-harry potter for stupid reasons.. e.g. religion.
