i have the original wickerman on dvd 2 discs. one. the original theatrical version and the other the director's cut.
a film by robin hardy. voted britains best horror movie.
it was set on a remote scottish island.
so why make a newer version today which is set in the U.S. ??
cant be original .

I love the original Wicker Man movie too - the remake will definitely be **** I'm sure. Hollywood can't better a film that is as good as the original Wicker Man - a pointless remake.

i think it is great seing remakes as years ago the acting was crap the effects was naff and all the remakes are better such as king cong, texas chainsaw masacre, and so on.
