Yes.I would answer if there were no points. I can't vote now, but I don't really care.
People ask interesting questions, and stupid questions as well.
I'm only answering these questions because I need exercise in formulating thought. It's just a writing exercise to me. But some of my answers have been helpful to people, which might be an added benefit.
This place, properly used, is just like a gym for the mind. Keep thinking, and keep stimulated. Points are just the way Yahoo keeps idiots from getting out of control.

Yes because I've always wanted an adivce column and with this I can chose which letters to read and if I want to answer them or not. If there weren't points I wouldn't be as interested but I would still do it. You know the thrill when you get Best Answer.

cause I have spent the other 5 years of my life sending email to groups. I got bored with it and now am doing this. I got nothing for the mail sending. I just use the PC as a way to relax. So I know I would. Points are cool but it really doesn't matter when it comes down to it.
