Somebody already wrote this question for technology. But there are a lot of things going on in this world besides technology. There is politics, civil rights, the war on terrorism - along with a future 9/11 that might involve a nuclear bomb going off in some American city.

And no - my question is NOT based on some movie I just saw. :))))

What kind of society do you think we will have, 50 years from now?

Hmm interesting question. I myself have often pondered this. I can't imagine it being much different but when you compare, oh say, 1906 to 1956 there were a lot of differences. Society, politics, fashion, entertainment, technology...you name it! I don't really have any substantial 'examples' but I'm supposing it will be quite different in 2056 :)
Also...I agree with the girl who asked for her flying car. I'm still waiting for my Jetson car that will conveniently turn into a briefcase!

I don't know what it will be like in fifty years and to be honest... I am too scared to know.
