Just like the rest of the answers, Re-format your hard drive. Once re-formated, get some anti-spyware like: Spybot Search and Destroy, Lavasoft Ad-ware, Spy sweaper, Spyware Blaster and Window Washer, you also want to get a anit-virus program like a free AVG.

Then run all those scanners, go into options of each one and search for updates, once updated, run the scanners, delete everything that pops up and delete them from quarantine.

Once all that is done, your computer will be clean.

On another note, once you install something, or you find something installed on your computer, you can go into add/remove programs and delete them, but they won't be out of the registry. Some programs won't even show in the add/remove programs, so to delete them permanently go the "Start > Run > type in regedit and hit enter" this takes you to the registry files. Be very careful in here, you do not want to delete the wrong thing. Click on "My Computer" then up at the top of the page you want to click on "Edit > Find" a box will pop up, type in (for instance 'Adobe Photoshop') click "Find Next" This will scan each file and folder looking for the words you typed in, once one is found read it carefully and if the words "Adobe Photoshop" is in the string, Delete it. Hit F3 to search again. If no more files are found a box will pop up and say that it is done searching. When this box pops up, click ok, then re-do the search, just incase something was missed.

Hopes this helps.

how much clean up do you have to do? if you think it's gonna take more than half of your MB, then reformat! You can however do it manually by using add remove programs then get rid of those adult programs and files. it's best if there aint virus included or else it'd be hard to delete em. go to tools, setting click internet options. clear your history and temporary files. uninstall through control panel and add remove programs.

You're better off having someone there do it for you. Someone that knows alot about comps. If you take someone's advise here, you may delete something you shouldn't. Or call your tech support and see if they might have the patience. Just don't trust the answers you get her in this site

reformat the hard drive and install your preferred operating system and applications. then its all up to you what is on it, you could also do a serach by file type and delete what you find offensive. add/delete programs does just that, programs not files
a fresh install is the cleanest method.
