Jazz or Blues Guitar players only: If you only wanted to spend $500.00 or less on a guitar?

Would you consider the Epiphone Dot (ES-335 immitation) or which other Jazz and Blues guitar and why?

The Ibanez Artcore Models are the best on the market. I like them better than any Gibson. They have such a rich tone, nice look, and a nicer price. Also the Epiphone Les Paul Standard is an excellent guitar too. Buy either one of those and you will not be dissapointed. They are both a little under $400 or around $400 I think.
