My name is Joni B. and I am an addict. Recovering meth addict. Actually, there are alot of people out there who understand. And alot of people are addicted to methamphetamine in this part of the country that people would be blown away to know. Addiction is a disease, not a weakness, and don't let anyone tell you differently. My daughter's father is still using, and he has done EVERY hideous thing a man could do to her and me, but we still love him, hate his behavior. It is the dope. No one chooses to become dependent. That was a rant! I honestly thought it was a weakness when I was using. I have learned since then that it absolutely IS a disease, and why.

In a way it is their faults. I mean I like to drink but I know it's not safe for me to all the time and I have to force myself not too. I think some don't try hard enough and just fall back on I can't

Really depends on the situation anymore if u think about it. Some of them deserve to be looked down upon, but there r others who really need it..

Drugs for Illness is medicine. No one in sane mind would bat an eyelid. When it comes for abuse and for kicks, the people are judged otherwise.
