My partner has just moved there from France, we used to see each other every 2 weeks, most of the time it will be for week end, I need to find the cheapest way to get there!

I`m french, living in Glasgow since a while..
I`ve already been searching, but I thought that maybe a local could have some informations i didn`t find yet!

Yep flybe and esayjet have both flights from glasgow to Belfast, but fridays and sundays it`s quite expensive.
Is it interesting to use Ryanair for Dublin, and from there go to Londonderry by train, how long could it takes?

bus to Stranraer ferry to Belfast then bus to Londonderry
did it often when I was there
alternately fly if you book early and late flights they are cheaper fly friday return monday early

go to booking a flight, then choose glasgow airport to city of derry, cheapest i saw was £40 ish return.
no other flight operator flys direct there.

Get a push bike with a engine on it! Or a bus, bus's are usally cheaper with a concession card. Good luck!

cheapest would be to walk. Best would be to fly. Anything else is a compromise between the 2.
