nextexiter, it is you who doesn't have a leg to stand on: you say, and I quote, ".... you don't have a leg to stand on (perhaps a motorist ran over it it, in which case I am not sorry)..." Who else but a monster would utter such gibberish!

Monster:
1.a legendary animal combining features of animal and human form or having the forms of various animals in combination, as a centaur, griffin, or sphinx.
4.a person who excites horror by wickedness, cruelty, etc.

Unless you mean a "legendary animal" (in which case you're certifiably insane), the word monster seems like an exaggeration for one of the millions who drive "motorcars." The statistics just aren't there to identify all drivers as monsters. I know many people who drive. In fact everyone I know drives. Maybe you're in a Third World nation, in which case most of your drivers would be aristocracy and therefore arguably "monstrous." But if you're from England or something, you don't have a leg to stand on (perhaps a motorist ran over it, in which case I'm not sorry). I think driving does not inspire wickedness, just like getting out of bed in the morning is not all that evil.

No. I drive because I live in the middle of nowhere and the public transport is non-existant.
I'm not a monster

Monsters also cross the road without looking, they ride bikes without consideration for other road users, they push in when boarding buses and trains. Yep, there are a lot of them about. Fortunately you and I not one.
