There are several meanings. The main ones as per Oxford dictionery are :-

1. a person who maintains that God is one being, rejecting the doctrine of the Trinity.

2. (initial capital letter) a member of a liberal religious denomination founded upon the doctrine that God is one being, and giving each congregation complete control over its affairs.

3. an advocate of unity or centralization, as in government.
–adjective

4. pertaining to the Unitarians or their doctrines; accepting Unitarianism; belonging to the Unitarians.

So when some one calls you Unitarian it is good only and he must have meant you as a person belive in God and Unity of all.
Hope my exlanation is O.K.

There is a denomination in the USA named Unitarian Universalist. They broke off from the Christians in the 1800's. One of their beliefs is that there is one God, not three. The British have a Unitarian church too. The two are related but not quite the same. Most Unitarians believe Jesus was wise, but not divine.

Believing all things are tied together into one(Unity)...all religions, all experiences, all history has some original truth that explains all of it. You believe nothing is an accident and that all of it is clues to the ultimate truth.
