First of all, there is no such thing as a false positive. (There are false negatives, because you may not have enough of the pregnancy hormone in your urine.) With me, I had tons of very faint positives & it took me almost 3 months to get a bright positive sign. It also depends on which brand you use.
Congratulations! You're pregnant!
I wouldn't let the mild cramping bother you. You'll find that you cramp a lot more than you'd think during pregnancy. (Especially from 16-24 weeks with the round ligament pain.) I think the mild cramping in early pregnancy is caused from your uterus expanding. If it becomes really painful, deep cramping--I'd be concerned and ask a DR. In some cases, it's normal to feel some pretty intense cramping (my sis-in-law did and the baby's just fine.) If it's associated with bleeding, I'd definitely call a DR. Don't let it concern you, if it's mild cramping--I'm sure you're fine!

Wait a couple more days, if you still don't have anything take another. If a faint line show up then take another one a few more days later. If they continue to be faint try the blood test from a Doc. If they get progressively darker, chances are, you're pg. The mild cramping comes from the fact that, yes pregnancy is normal, but it is a foreign object inside your body. Your uterus will naturally try to expel it. But there is NO need to worry. This is a natural occurrence. I've had two children and had mild cramping with the first and hard cramping with the second, both times just in the beginning. This cramping WILL STOP. You may have a little spotting also. This is normal. You should really see a Doc if you have cramping harder than normal and what looks like a period that is heavier and has more clots than normal. Sorry so graphic but I hope this helps!!!
BTW: There ARE such things as false positives, I've had 2.

im sorry but u might be having a miscarriage but u may not even knoe it surprisingly a 67% of pregnancies are miscarried without the mother knowing! because they are just a lil embryo u wouldnt knoe!!! but u also might not be ur only two days give ur body time to relax and no steress over not having a period! give it about a week or so and take another one and if you get the same results u should stop wasting ur money and get a blood test!

I would get your pregnancy confirmed at a doctors surgery. For the record though cramping in pregnancy is normal and ok as long as it is NOT associated with any loss of blood or fluid. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant myself and have had cramping on and off the entire time. It is in a nutshell your body stretching and accommodating your growing uterus.

I don't know really... in my experiences with pregnancy and cramping.. well they werent good... but you arent very far along... it could be anything really. I don't know if I would rush to the ER for this... does your Dr have an answering service? maybe you can call and see what he or she says? Good Luck and I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy... (a + no matter how faint is still a +)

Your best bet is to go to the doctors. There they can examine you and give you a blood test which is much more accurate. But if going to the doctors is not an option for you, you can always wait a few more days and take another hpt. Good luck! =)

You could have gas. Two days late is not a thing to get worried about. If you were 1.5 months late then you would need to check it out.
