With more scientific proof behind the so-called "Conspiracy Theory" of 9/11 why does people still refuse this. I understand it is a hard thing to realize that the government would do this but is it really out of the question? Think about how much leverage 9/11 has given the Bush administration. Anything dealing with more money in the budget and anything that Bush says he must mention Terrorism and if anything Bush is the terrorist because he in acts terror within the American people. But yea why is this not feasible?

The answers so far are very compelling but the fact that was never to be answered throughout the whole debate between "Conspiracy Theories" and the "truth" has been the issue behind Building 7. I'm still pretty sure that many people have never heard of Building 7. Building 7 was NOT hit by any planes or what not BUT it was still able to collapse into a perfect pile which looked very similar to a controlled demolition, well because it was a controlled demolition and if you say because of debree or anything and fires than why has a steel building ever in history collapse due to fire until 9/11 where THREE buildings fell. Feel free to post any sites where these theories are debunked because I am very open minded and would not mind reading them.

because the entirety of their education is from the 6 oclock news .. and they just dont care ... building7 just fell "coz" and thats that ... the fact that operation northwoods detailed a govt plan to carry out almost the exact same attacks back in the cuban missle crisis doesnt even make them raise an eyebrow .. and the fact that the fbi was caught on tape as ordering and orchestrating the first attack on the trade center in '93 and it even being in the news got brushed aside and forgotten also..... to question your govt has become unpatriotic ... this is america today.

Anything is possible. The question is whether the evidence is compelling. Many of the conspiracy theory sites are themselves publishing some serious disinformation. Have you seen the photos of the real damage to Building 7? Conspiracy sites only show you the back side of the building because the side facing the twin towers was horribly smashed, about 25% of its first 20 floors just carved right out. It's amazing it stood for another 7 hours.

If the Government were behind knocking down the World Trade Center towers, they would have succeeded the first time, in 1993. But, it was just more Islamists like last time.

I suspect that there may have been warnings of something upcoming but that they were not solid enough to, say, shut down all the airlines or bar Arab men from boarding planes. We have known about an impending airliner hijacking attack since 1993. That's a long wait.

The only goal of the Bush Administration is to exploit the events that occured on 9/11. There is no conspiracy; there is no link between Iraq and the events of 9/11; the only reason we got into Iraq in the first place was because of Rumsfeld and Cheney, they are the ones that control the White house and they are the instigators of all this. Bush is nothing but a stupid puppet and does as he is told by Rumsfeld and Cheney, and as for the Republican majority in both houses, well they would give the Bush Administration anything as long as he tows their conservative, right wing agenda.

Well, all of the so-called "scientific" proof that I've reviewed has been pure junk science.

Show me something from a credible source who is not trying to push an agenda and I'll have another look. But so far, everythig I've reviewed was obviously skewed by someone who was out to prove their point with half-truths or clueless interpretations and assumptions that don't stand up to the light of day.

BTW, I'm no fan or W and his cronies. They've done a LOT to harm this country, no question about that. But to imply that the events of 9/11 were orchestrated by the them is patently absurd. Gross negligence, maybe. But explicit involvement? No way!

It's very hard to believe. though it is intriguing. if it were the government I'm sure it would have come out from someone. unless it were orchestrated by some secret agency like area 51 or something. If that even exists, who knows? i'd like to think that if it were our direct government (bush) someone would have come out with it. crazy stuff to think about though.

Think about it man. I had this thought when they launched the 9/11 probe. "What is the best thing that could come out of this" It petrifies me that anyone but terrorists made this happen. If the truth were told to be that WE made this happen it would be bedlam. In some cases ignorance is bliss, to be honest I think this is one of them. I don't think I want to know the truth.

Lol what conspiracy now have they dreamed up?
Roswell Aliens did it,
Area 51 Aliens did it,
CIA did it,
KKK did it,
Mr. Rogers did it,
etc.
etc.

yawn...guess the lower the IQ the more someone has to have a conspiracy behind everything.

It's a long story, but suffice to say there there are two sides to every story.
Always do research yourself before blindly believing anything. I suppose I could post a link to a place where we had a similar debate, but I doubt you care.

Because there is too much conflicting evidence, and because it really makes no difference whatsoever in what we do from here.
