Elizabeth Taylor was already an Icon when Madonna was still having a hard time typing 15 words per minute haahahahahaha,so a far cry comparison to Miss Taylor..

Unfortunately, most celebs, or anyone else in the public eye for that matter, aren't considered legends until either 1) they're too old and feeble to continue (like poor Dick Clark) or 2) they die.
If either Elizabeth or Madonna were either to die tomorrow, I guarantee the next awards show would have a tribute to the "legend".
In my opinion, they are both living legends, as are Dick Clark, Bob Barker, & Casey Kasem.

Elizabeth Taylor was the most beautiful,kind,caring,lady on the television.She still is.She has always shown how much she cared for her fans and always did the movies she liked and felt the audience would like.She cared so much for others.It showed in her beutiful,violet eyes in her movies.I never did meet her but i watched all her movies.One Great Lady.
