The first two answers are the best, regarding real women. The answers that pertain to materialism must be true regarding some, but it's sad to think there are women like that.

give her specific compliments such as you like the way she walks or tell her how her smile makes her face light up, not just "your pretty".
pay attention to her when she speaks, remember what she said,
