I am moving to florida after I graduate, I want to go to school but I can't afford out-of-state tuition (i dont want to be 4x in the debt than necessary) Is it a good decision to wait a year? Saying that I don't recieve any scholarships or grants?

Well if I were moving to Florida after I graduated I would wait a year so that I could explore the new area I was living in. It would give you a chance to look at campuses in Florida before picking a school, time to see sights and get used to your new surroundings. Also, it would give you citizenship in Florida too, right? Just be sure to also get a job when you get there to save up more money for college before you actually start. =)

Find out what the residency requirements are in the state you want to move to, some states only require 6mos to establish residency.

Consider a community college for the first semester or two, you can still take classes that will count towards your degree but are much less expensive. Once you have established residency then you can transfer to the university you want.

sounds like you are about 24-25 yo. then to wait a year makes good financial sense. After all you do already have a marketable degree to get you through that year wait. If you are lucky you could find a job that will pay for your further education.
