He is one of my best friends and I've known him for 3 years. We lived in the same dorm for a year then I transfered to another college and have just talked on messenger and e-mail. But he doesn't have that e-mail anymore and hasn't been on messenger when I've been on for 6 months. I have his phone number but have never called him. Now I think I like him more than a friend so I'm scared to call him. By the way he only likes me as a friend. He doesn't have my phone number. What do you think, should I call him if I haven't called him in 6 months? I live in Washington and he lives in Georgia and is in the army.

Hi, Why not, He is a good friend, but you think you like him more than a friend, but he doesn't know this, unless you tell him.Call him and tell him you miss emailing each other and see if he has a new email and get it from him.At least you will still have him as a good friend, unless you tell him how you feel. It's up to you to decided if you want to stay good friends, or tell him the way you feel about him. Either way Good Luck.

There is a comedian that does a bit that says if a woman says she'll call you, she means in a couple of days. If a man says he'll call you, he means before he dies.

A guy friend? Unless you owe him money, he shouldn't be upset.

I can't comment on the condition of your particular "relationship", just males in general and the meaning of the phrase, "I'll call you."
