I went to a lot of shows for a long time w/o wearing any plugs. The ringing last for a few days and wears off (sometimes less, depending on how close you were to the speakers and how loud it was).
Even shoving a piece of a tissue bunched up in my ears, while at the show, helps me now and I get no ringing sensation after.
I actually think I hear the band better now too, as the tissue blocks out all of the distortion.

it takes time to repair the damage to your ears caused by standing too close to the speakers at a concert. You should have worn ear buds. If it doesn't go away in a week i recommend you go see an ear doctor.

While going to concerts is a great time, if your ears are ringing that bad for several days, you seriously need to get some ear plugs..........you are causing irreversible damage to your hearing. It's not only the volume that will damage your hearing, but exposure to all the high frequencies is where the ringing comes from. There are lots of earplugs that are not noticible in your ears and that filter lots of those high frequencies out along with some volume. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE!!

It goes away after time. If you cannot sleep turn on a fan or a stereo/tv to a staticy channel and keep it on while you sleep. The white noise will drown out the ringning.
