we are currently trying to cash in some shares,and are having great problems with computer shares the company that handlesdeals with this ,we have had trouble with these people befor ,has anyone else ?

Computershare is one of the largest Registrars in the UK. They don't have a reputation for this sort of thing, but in a large organisation it's always possible.

Best advice I can give you is to make a formal complaint. Send a letter clearly setting out your concerns. If they don't respond properly within a certain period escalate straight to the company Chairman. Writing to the Chairman normally causes most companies to cave.

If you continue to have problems you can go to the FSA. However they will not take your complaint until you can show you have approached the company and exhausted their internal complaints procedure.

Need a bit more info please, name of company, problem with them etc.
