Do you consider a tomato a fruit or veggie in your opinion and why?

Tomato is a Fruit. but we use it as a veggie. I think it is just what we know in our cooking.

It's a fruit because someone said it was. Or is it a veggie because someone said it was? I don't know. I don't care. I just LOVE those wonderful fruit/veggies.

I know it is technically a fruit. But when I am counting how many fruits I've eaten I never count it. Much like someone else said, I always eat tomatoes with vegetables - salad mostly. My dad used to eat them like an apple, but I never liked them by themselves.

Well, i'd say it is a veggie. Fruit is sweet and has an interesting texture. Tomatoes are unique like fruit cuz they are juicy, but they aren't sweet. so yeah i'd go with veggie. plus, my mom made me eat 'em when i was young and that usually means veggies :)

a fruit, because I like to eat tomatoes like apples. and fresh off the plant is the best.

It is a fruit but I do think of it as a vegetable because of most of the ways that i have prepared it.
