I really need to learn to dance. In my entire life I have gone to one dance, and that was 8th grade grad. I only went because I had relatives at my house and I really didn't want to be there. I never danced at the dance but just ate the food and hung out with friends. But this year I am in high school, I've been dating this girl for about 6 months now whom I'v grown to love. And I want to take her to every single dance our school has this year. But the problem is...I don't know how to dance. I want to learn, but I don't want to take classes. Iv asked my gf to teach me because she is decent but the few times she tries we both get sexually aroused and wind up in bed. I am a sophmore, 16 years old. Ok people gimme some imput!

Hmm, what's wrong with dance classes? Seems like the most efficient way to me.
OK, try watching some instructional videos. You didn't say exactly what kind of dance you want to learn... Hiphop? Salsa? Swing?

Ok have yer gf to teach you some place in public where you can't have sex! OR you can always buy videos or dvds that you can learn from to teach you how to dance.

Well if you really want to impress this girl ask ur mom or a teacher to teach you how to dance or ask ur girlfriend.

Learn. . .take lessons, watch videos. . . but my advice is to attend a couple of dances alone and watch what everyone else is doing.

Honestly, I don't think it's important enough to spend a whole lot of time on. You really need to establish your priorities and I don't believe this should be high on the list.

well if when she tries to teach you, you get sexually involed maybe you shoulnd't go to the dances.
