I agree that this question is oddly placed, but it's a good question nonetheless.
I was recently faced with a dilemma much like yours. I had great chemistry with a guy that I hadn't really ever talked to before. We got along really well, and he soon started asking me to hang out quite often. While we were together, we both flirted like crazy. I took that as a sign that he liked me, and soon I was head-over-heels. But then, suddenly, he stopped talking to me. He wouldn't say hi in the halls, he wouldn't joke with me at lunch, and he wouldn't smile at me in class. I found out that he had asked out another girl. It broke my heart.
Anyways, I obsessed over him for a long time before I realized that I was so much better than him. He strung me along, and then ruined a perfect friendship! It took me a lot of thinking to get to that point, but here are some tips that helped me get over him:
1. I wrote down a list of everything that I hated about him. I know it seems mean, but it really helped. You should include every little detail- from his stupid habits to his bad skin.
2. I thought about how many boys would be lucky to have me. When this list fell a little short, I went out and found myself a couple of flirting partners. I'm not saying that you should throw yourself at every boy, but just some playful flirting does a girl good. [Make sure he doesn't think that it means any more than it does!]
3. I gave myself a makeover. I know that it seems shallow, but it really boosted my self-esteem. And the look on his face when he saw my brand new look was priceless! Just don't do anything extreme that you'll regret. A little makeup and nail polish goes a long way.
Sorry for the rambling answer, but I hope that this helped you!

Why would you waste any more energy on someone who doesn't like you. Just move on.
