true story.........
One Sunday, my family and I were going to do the usual: go to church and then to a movie. But my older sister didn't want to come with us. She wanted to stay at our house with her boyfriend.
All the time she was at home with her boyfriend she had funny feelings running up and down her spine. She ignored the feelings and went to get her camera to take pictures of her boyfriend. As soon as she had used all the film, she took the film to be developed. When the developing was finished, my sister immediately went to collect the pictures.
My sister looked at the pictures of her boyfriend and her blood ran cold. In the pictures there is a mirror. If you look in the mirror, inside the pictures, there is a man standing behind my sister as if he were going to grab her-yet she and her boyfriend were the only ones in the house!

The scariest story I ever heard dealing with a ghost was when I was younger. Probably by today's standards it wouldn't hold up as well as other things out there with the new age of horror but when I was younger it was a good story to remember and tell.

The story came from a book called The Scariest Stories You've Ever Heard Pt.3 and it was called " The Man With The Skeleton Face", i'll try to tell it abridged the best I can,

Three boys go camping at a park area that can only be reached by a Ferry across the river. They board the ferry and arrive at the campsites to find that a heavy rain had came. But before the boys could make it back to the ferry, it had left them there until the next day. When the rain finally settled , it left a dreary mist , essentially making a poor camping trip for the 3 boys. As midnight came ,the mist grew thicker and one of the boys smells a burning odor, then they begin to hear the sound of a horse-drawn cart, out of the mist came a black cart, the driver wore a blue uniform with the tag "Benson". He leaned down to the 3 boys and held out his hand and said, "Come it is time" , the boys were horrified to see his face had been seared off to a fleshly bone. Terrified, they ran to their tent and sealed themselves, until daylight.

The next day, the 3 boys began to pack it up and go home , not sure if what they saw was real or fantasy. As they reach the ferrydock, they noticed it began to rain heavy again, bringing many white caps across the river. Again the mists came , as the boys boarded the ferry home.

While on board, they realized they were the only passengers. After a few minutes they heard the ferry-collector calling for their tickets. As he approached , they smelled the familiar odor of flesh, looking up in horror they noticed the man had the nametag, "Benson" and had the skeleton face! The boys struggled to fight their way away from the man who attacked them, finally kicking free the boys jumped the ferry into the cold, rainy river to swim to shore.

When they finally swim to shore, they made their way to the local police to tell them their story. The police stared at each other in shock . The boys, confused, asked what was wrong. The police explained that 15 years earlier a ferry had exploded on the river, with no passengers, it claimed the life of its conductor, John Benson.

It was the one that I saw in my hall way. Just a blue orb hanging in the hall way right at the entrance to my bedroom door. It gave me a real scary feeling and I was awake and could not get to sleep after that. I was 25 at the time. I have seen others even the figure of a man holding a blanket draped over his arms. He had not legs. Stood there for about 15 seconds and then was not there any more. It was scary too. I was about 30 then. No ghost stories just incidents.
