My father had a beer mug that someone had made into a candle and it looked just like a freshly poured beer. The golden brown wax had the odd tiny bubble, but the foamy looking head had tons of bubbles of all size.

We'd like to recreate this as a home art project..... (and the crayon box is over flowing)

Any suggestions on how to create the bubble effect?

The warm (NOT hot) wax is "whipped" with an electric mixer. Did this back when I was a teenager and candle-making was a peaceful pursuit ;-)
