If its something that you want to do and you can handle the crap that you might get from the teeny boppers i say go for it. I'm 30 and have 4 kids and I enrolled in an abtoning class because i want to. I'm sure that there will be lots of younger and more fit people in the class but I don'tcare what they aregoing to have to say. I'm doing it for me and you should do it if it is what you want to do. Lets face it not everybody is a size 3.

Hip Hop dancing is an incredible excercise.
I recommend, if they don't stress it enough, that you make sure to always stretch, and stretch a lot.
I don't think that you should expect to be the fastest breakdancer in the crew, but you'll be faster than anybody your age by the time you're through with a class or two.
Stick with it, but don't try anything too risky. I know that you may not be "breakdancing" per say, but I know that a lot of hip hop revolvces around that style, and it's a style with the word "break" incorporated in it's name. Don't perform any spinning handstands on one arm and end up breaking it.
Not yet anyway.

ofcourse not, all that dancing should whip you into shape in no time. You'll feel a little uncomfortable with the thought of being the biggest one in the class but dont let it discourage you at all. Good Luck and i' bet you'll look great in a few months, keep it up.

Absolutely not! Don't expect to be perfection too soon or anything. But you'll get the hang of it! Persevere. You can succeed!

Nothing good can come of this.
It would be a bad idea if you were 15, much less 37.

No, honey, what ever gets you active and healthy is fine! Anyone who says anything negative about it would have to be a colossal a**hole.
