Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a new spyware. the anti-spyware software do not have update on such spyware definition. Does the anti-spyware software still able to scan and identify the new spyware?

No. If a new spyware is released, and you do not get the updated definitions for the antispyware program, then the program will not know how to recognize this new malware.

It is therefore always advised that you update your virus and antimalware definitions daily if not every few days.

Anti SPyware programs have signature files updated daily (At least the paid versions do, unknown on the free ones) Panda has a technology called TruPrevent, which is proactive, and will shut down spyware based on what the files are doing on your hard drive. If you buy Panda Platinum or Titanium, it will eliminate about 99% of all spyware, nothing else comes even close to that.

New spywares are created every hour of every day. Anti-spy definations are almost always a week or so behind.

probably not you have to keep updating it just like anti-virus software. you should be able to go online & find free anti syware programs like adaware
