My son is being railroaded and blamed for something they have NO evidence to support. He is being drug through the county legal system along with others just so the county can obtain more money and funding from the state, all statments and probable cause statments are conflicting. We are schedules for prelem hearing 9-11 and I KNOW they will find a way to get more money from him. I can confirm he is not guilty, but that doesnt matter, he and others are being abused by our couty system? Who can help this stop?

I believe we need to examine our system of justice more closely. Many times the have-nots end up without adequate representation. We the people can come together collectively and fight back. Let's get something going like town hall meetings in different locations and collect data on the many problems people are facing. Do I have any takers?

The court system is a way for the government to get more money. They pretend like $500 is not a lot of money, they want to throw you in jail until you "come-up" with the money. they are betting on your freinds and family coming through for you. When I was in college i was barely feeding myself, then to have a bogus traffic ticket for $300 dollars, to some thats not a lot but to a growing number of people it could mean court date or groceries. Then you miss a court date and thats a whole nother deal right there, its a cycle, all because you didn't have $300 to give the judge for him to tell you that now that he has your money, you are a better person.

You can't appeal just based on the fact you don't like the outcome.

You son's attorney is handling the case. If you don't like the way the attorney is handling it, you can get another attorney.

And if there is any significant jail time involved, the case is going to be tried before a jury, who makes all factual determinations based on the available evidence. If your son doesn't like the outcome, he can appeal. That's the way the legal system works.
