Is it still necessary for me to burn in a new athlon 64 bit 3200+ computer

Are you wanting to overclock? If so, it helps to wait a few 'cycles'* of normal use before attempting an overclock, to let the thermal compound set. If you aren't going to overclock, just enjoy it.

*a cycle is using the computer for whatever you'll be using it for, then turning it off overnight

If your not going to OC or sell them to a third party....I personally dont think so but it is still a good idea.

But if you are going to sell the computer it is definately a good idea to burn it in cause if it doesnt work youll have to fix it for free

its a bad idea. if the cpu or board is damaged in burn-in mode, warranty is not covered on them....

what is in your mind.... come out openly, then only we can help.
