Do they one day go to bed and think I hope he will marry me now?
How long does it take for this realization to take place in general?
Thanks a lot for your input in advance.

depends on the woman and the man.
Some chicks have everything about their wedding planned.. down to the the caterer and dress. They just need the man.

Watch out.

I think if the girl is serious about the guy, then yes, the idea does cross her mind --- and is something that she thinks about...

The time length, I think varies due to age, maturity and the length of the relationship. Sorry, I can't give you a better answer than that.. it's an unknown!

I can tell you, when dating the man that is my husband now (and I've been married 25 years), that it was a little ways into our relationship before I thought about marriage to him. My feelings for him grew with the relationship .... have to admit that I knew he loved me too and that he would ask me to marry him and had decided when he did, that I'd say yes.

This may sound weird, but I've been married twice and each time soon after meeting both men, I just knew I was going to marry them! The first one was a disaster, lasted less than a year. However, my second husband and I have been married almost 14 years.

The answer to your question,-- generally yes. But the length of time it gets to that realization is very individual. Some know from the beginnning, and others, not until they get to know the person better, which could be from a few dates to over a year.

It all depends, some women want to marry faster than others. Some want to marry after three months other wait until three years. I've met women who have told me that they finally feel like getting married to their man after being with them for three years.
Other women have told me they want to get married only after being with their guy for three months.

I'm assuming that the faster they want to get married, the less they are financially stable.

The women who have better jobs and more financial stability on their own, usually don't have wedding plans in their head with their boyfriend until a few years into the relationship. On the other hand, women who aren't financially stable when entering the relationship tend to want to get married quicker due to financial stability that the marriage will "supposedly" bring to the table.

yup we sure do. i think many of us if we dont see potential for a long term refering to possible one day marriage then we'd rather not. then when we do find someone who seems to fit what we desire we plan it out in our heads. but besides that point lil girls plan on getting married. i know a 5 yr old who has it all planned out even what she wants to name her 12 kids.
