Rowan Atkinson is a very funny and talented actor. His humor is genuinely British therefore not so big in the USA. I have all Mr. Bean episodes and he's one of my favorite comedians.

I like Mr. Bean. I think it is different and well done. I would rate him high because people need more comedians like him to humour them in the present time with so many disastres, wars and disease.

I rate him 8 out of 10. He's a genius. The most difficult comedy is one where you use no words. VERY few comedians can get that right. Even fewer are the ones who *perfect*. Those are the geniuses, like Tex Avery and Charlie Chaplin.

The character of Mr Bean [played by Rowan Atkinson] is the little imp in all of us. Some of the scenarios that he plays out we wish we had the courage to do. I rate Rowan Atkinson and his characters like Mr Bean & the Black Adder as biting and witty & well worth watching. If you ever get the chance, check out the videos of his stage sketches....especially the "Welcome to Hell"

I think that if Mr. Bean went up as a comedian, I dont think he would be as funny. I guess as long as he did his skit, and kept quiet, and serious, maybe. I don't think so though.

A good tribute of the physical comedy of Charlie Chaplain. A little lost on today's desire for raunch entertainment, but Rowen Atkinson has a comedic quality that few can match.
