hm... one item.... on an island.... the smartest thing would be a boat of some sort, but I think I'd have to have a computer with a satellite internet service so I could still answer these here q?.

well thise mite be cheep but id bring the fasters boat in the world to get off the island, not a cell phone beacause it mite not get service or reception.

I would take something to write and get busy writing. It would be peaceful and no telephone so I could get my novel finished. As it is now, I am constantly disturbed and cannot concentrate on what I am doing with constant interruptions.

do pets count as things?? if so, i'd bring my ferret. If not, i'd bring sedatives (valium) , because i'd be panicking all alone on an island.
