I can't but when you find one be sure to have them put in a stitch or "cercloge" sorry my spelling is bad. It helped with us. Also have a weekly ultrasound to monitor your cervex.

I don't any doctors in Toronto. However, who ever you find make sure they give you a cerclog (hope I spelled it right). I experienced the same issue and for my last and only live birth my doctor did this for me. I also have a incompetent cervix. The procedure in done in an operating room with you awake and you have a mild medication (it doesnt hurt) and then once you get close to your due date your doctor removes the cerclog in his/her office (again this doesn't hurt, just a little uncomfortable). I wish you the best of luck and hope this info. was helpful.

Lastly this procedure truly works my son ended up being 10 pounds and I was only 3 days early.

I know the AMA lists doctors by specailty not so cetain for docs in canada.

Your overall best bet may be to simply call local hospitals and ask for the maternity ward and speak to various nurses on that floor. They will be the ones to get the most educated opinion of since they see who delivers and who offers the best care for high risk pregnancy.

Have you talked with your regular OB about who she regularly refers her patients to? My OB has several different perinatologists/high-risk pregnancy doctors that she refers her patients to, different ones for different risks. I would certainly ask her (your regular doc) first, unless there's a reason you don't trust your regular doc?

Sorry I don't know. I wish I could help you, you may want to contact a health care office that may be able to provide free information on that. Or you may want to go to an obgyn that can recommend a colleague.
