I replaced my cpu cooler because it was too loud, after i replaced it and plug everything in (CHECKED 3 TIMES) the cpu cooler just kept running but my computer did not start up. Nothing came up on the monitor nor did the start up light. I think I might have done something wrong to the Socket or something. PLZ help me! I'm in so much trouble right now

Well, Brian, you've either damaged your processor (least likely), your motherboard (more likely), or your video card or RAM needs to be removed and then reseated, because you've bumped them while replacing your heatsink. Good luck.

It is quite probably that you damaged your processor in the process of replacing the cooler. Unfortunately, at this point you will need to try another process in the system to see how it works.

Check your power supply box inside your case. Take the top of its case off and if the capacitors inside look like someone has slung snot all over them then you need a new power supply.
