most of the time muscle spasms are caused by lack of something in our daily diets.. most of the time its potassium (K) which you can get more of in foods such as watermelon and bananas... try eating more of those and see if it helps

RE:
Why do I get muscle spasms all over my body?
I always get these little muscle flickers, mostly in my stomach and legs. Does anybody know what causes them?
Could my heart murmur have anything to do with it?

Do you also exercise alot? I got them alot when I was really exercising hard or just working hard.I had a painting job where I was constantly walking back and forth through out the day and my legs would have terrible muscle spasms when I went to bed at night.

This could be a sign of dehydration. Do you have kidney problems? If so then you should drink plenty of water. But just to be on the safe side, you should see a doctor.
